
Warren Young
Warren is a valued member of our Professional team at Centenary Park. Warren teaches in a part time capacity at Centenary Park, and provides a massive influence on our team’s culture with the humour and knowledge that he provides.
Warren has been a member of the Australian PGA since 1978, completing his PGA apprenticeship at Long Island Country Club.
Warren was the 1985 Australian PGA Order of merit winner, where he also won the Stroke Averages for that year. Throughout his time as a PGA member Warren has played 10 years on the Australasian tour, operated and provided tuition at the Burwood Driving range and operated the Centenary Park Golf Course for 25 years. Warren has now been at Centenary Park for 30 years. Both Warren and Jack work really well together as a team, sharing similar perspectives on golf tuition.
Warren is known around the Golf industry as an expert club fitter and in recent years has been rated a top 50 Club Fitter in Australia by Golf Digest. In Warren’s words he is “the best” when it comes to club fitting and truly demonstrates his knowledge and expertise in a first-class club fitting experience. Warren keeps up to date with the profile of each newly introduced golf shaft that club manufactures bring out each year and is extremely skilled at finding the perfect fit for golfers who seek his club fitting.
